Which mattress types work best on adjustable beds?

All-foam, memory foam, latex, and many hybrid mattresses with pocketed coils usually perform very well on adjustable bases because they flex easily and bend without rigid frames. Traditional innerspring mattresses with connected coils and border rods are generally the least compatible unless specifically designed for adjustability.
