A pocket coil mattress (also called pocketed coil or individually wrapped coil) uses springs that are each encased in their own fabric pocket instead of being tied together in a single grid. Because each coil moves independently, pocket coil mattresses can contour more closely to your body and reduce motion transfer compared to traditional connected-coil innerspring designs.
